Our staff prioritizes the needs of the children while maintaining a trauma-informed care approach and a neurodiversity affirming environment. We focus on providing quality childcare by creating an inclusive classroom community where all kids feel safe to express their emotions. Our skilled staff is equipped to handle these emotions and assist in co-regulation and restorative practices, ensuring that special needs education is effectively integrated into our supportive setting.
Our Preschool classroom will accommodate up to 20 children between the ages of 33 months and the day they enroll in Kindergarten. We prioritize quality childcare, ensuring that our staff-to-child ratios remain as small as needed, with a consistent maximum of 1:10. This approach allows us to provide personalized attention, which is especially important in supporting children who may benefit from special needs education or trauma-informed care.
While we strive for full inclusion in our program, we prioritize student needs first, especially in the context of quality childcare. Some children may not be ready for a larger classroom due to sensory issues or mobility restrictions. If this sounds like your child, we offer an intensive room designed for optimal growth and development, incorporating principles of special needs education and trauma-informed care. The staff to child ratios in this room are 1:5, with a float Behavior Technician available as needed.

Our experiences in quality childcare and special needs education have guided us to meet the significant needs of families and children. The saying, 'it takes a village' resonates with our company as we diligently promote family engagement and ensure that each child and family receives the proper therapies, including trauma-informed care, to reach their highest potential.

Through a trauma-informed care approach within a culturally responsive environment, Green Lily Behavioral Health prioritizes the mental and behavioral health of the family as a unit, ensuring that each member, including those in need of special needs education, has access to quality childcare and the opportunity to live their best life.

Our quality childcare program will incorporate the 'Early Childhood Indicators of Progress,' ensuring that activities are planned with children's individual needs in mind, including those requiring special needs education. We emphasize a developmentally appropriate learning model that fosters arts, crafts, and creativity, while also promoting physical activity and motor skills. Additionally, our approach includes trauma-informed care to support social and emotional growth.

Our facilities are designed to provide quality childcare in a comfortable and safe environment where children can learn and play.
