Our staff prioritizes the needs of the children while maintaining a trauma informed and neurodiversity affirming environment. We work to create an inclusive classroom community where all kids feel safe to express their emotions with staff equipped to handle them and assist in co-regulation and restorative practices.
Our Preschool classroom will allow for up to 20 children between the ages of 33 months and the day they enroll in Kindergarten. Staff to child ratios will remain as small needed but will maintain a consistent 1:10 ratio maximum.
While we strive for full inclusion in our program, we consider student needs first. Some children may not be ready for a larger classroom due to sensory issues or mobility restrictions. If this sounds like your child, we have an intensive room to allow for optimal growth and development. The staff to child ratios in this room is 1:5 with a float Behavior Technician available as needed.
Our experiences in childcare and education guided us to create this huge need for families and children. The saying, "it takes a village" rings true with our company as we work hard to promote family engagement and ensuring each child and family has the proper therapies to reach their highest potential.
Through a trauma-informed culturally responsive environment, Green Lily Behavioral Health prioritizes the mental and behavioral health of the family as a unit to give each member an opportunity to live their best life.
Our childcare program will incorporate the "Early Childhood Indicators of Progress" and activities will be planned with children's individual needs in mind.
Our facilities are designed to provide a comfortable and safe environment for children to learn and play. We have age-appropriate toys, books, and equipment, as well as outdoor play areas and a nutritious meal program.
